Cambodia Taekwondo Federation (CTF) has aimed to win three gold medals for WT at the SEA Games 2023 to be hosted by Cambodia.
The target was unveiled by CTF Secretary General H.E. Chrin Sothea, adding that the three-gold medal target was set by the medal index by the Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC).
CTF is working hard to sharpen the capacity of Cambodian WT athletes for the forthcoming games, said the secretary general.
The federation is planning to send its coach and athletes to get short and long trainings in the Republic of Korea, as well as to participate in international competitions.
It is also exploring human resources abroad including two athletes, one is getting trained in the U.S. and another one in France.
According to H.E. Chrin Sothea, the federation prepares 32 national athletes for the 32nd SEA Games 2023.
