Two New Investment Projects worth US$14.3 Million Approved

Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has endorsed two new investment projects with a total capital of US$14.3 million in Kampong Speu and Kandal provinces.
According to the council’s press release issued this morning, the newly approved projects belong to Milanna Leatherware M.F.Y (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and Best Beauty Company Limited.
The first company will invest US$9.2 million for the creation of a belt and bag factory in Chongruk commune, Korng Pisei district, Kampong Speu province, while the second will inject US$5.1 million for a garment factory in Takhmao town, Kandal province, the CDC pointed out.
The two newly-approved investment projects are expected to create some 3,650 jobs for the locals, added the same source.
