Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this morning visiting Dr. Yun Young Ho, Director General of the South Korea-based Universal Peace Federation (UPF).
According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Personal Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, during the courtesy meeting, Dr. Yun Young Ho expressed his congratulations to Cambodia on the success of the ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Phnom Penh in November and the recent ASEAN-EU Commemorative Summit in Brussels.
The director general also informed Samdech Techo Hun Sen of the process of gathering support for the establishment of Global Peace Constitution and Mekong Peace Park.
For his part, Samdech Techo Prime Minister thanked Dr. Yun Young Ho for the congratulations and recommended UPF to promote support for Global Peace Constitution in the UPF+X format.
For the Mekong Peace Park, he encouraged UPF to continue to work on the project.
UPF in cooperation with the Asian Cultural Council and the Asian Vision Institute based in Cambodia, is developing a “Mekong Peace Park” aiming at further promoting the value and culture of peace, building the foundations and the ecosystem of peace, and documenting and sharing knowledge on peace.
