World Bank is one of the major supporters of Cambodia to fight against Covid-19 and to improve health service in Cambodia.
The remark was made by H.E. Ms. Yuok Sambath, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health during a workshop on Performance-Based Condition Training Workshop and Knowledge Sharing Forum on Health Equity and Quality Improvement Project-Phase 2 at Raffles Royal Hotel in Phnom Penh on June 21.
She expressed her gratitude to health officials, local authorities and development partners for their proactive coordination and support especially to respond and contain COVID-19 in the past two years.
Ms. Shuo Zhang, Senior Health Specialist at the World Bank Group, spoke highly of the Ministry of Health for its effective measures against COVID-19 and good cooperation with the bank.
