Angkor King Fight 2022 to Start This Week

Angkor King Fight 2022 is scheduled to happen on April 10 in Siem Reap province, Dr. Meam Ra, President of Kun Khmer International Federation, shared the news at a recent press conference in Phnom Penh.
The match will attract the participation of 10 pairs of Cambodian and Chinese fighters, he added.
The event will be a good opportunity for Cambodian athletes to measure and develop their capacity for the SEA Games 2022-2023 in Vietnam and Cambodia respectively.
Mr. Guo Yang, Head of Longhai Fight Club of China, expressed his satisfaction of the event that will further strengthen the tie of friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
He was also positive that the event will help further promote Khmer boxing widely in China and across the world.
According to H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), the Southeast Asian Sports Council meeting is scheduled to take place from April 8 to 10 in Siem Reap province. The event will contribute to promoting boxing clubs across ASEAN to send more athletes to attend the upcoming SEA Games 2023 hosted by Cambodia, he said.
The Angkor King Fight 2022 will be organised under the collaboration between NOCC, Kun Khmer International Federation, Cambodia Boxing Federation, Cambodian Kickboxing Federation and Longhai Fight Club.
