Cambodia Committed to Host SEA Games 2023

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has called on all stakeholders, especially the athletes, to be ready for the 32nd SEA Games 2023 to be hosted by Cambodia.
Speaking at a get-together here this morning with over 500 Cambodian delegates and athletes before their departure for the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the Royal Government had reserved some KHR120 million or US$40 million to host the SEA Games next year.
After a hybrid meeting of the South East Asian Games Federation Council (SEAGF-Council) organised in Siem Reap province from April 8 to 10, 2022, H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) said all delegate from ASEAN countries discussed the progress and challenges for Cambodia in hosting the SEA Games, and expressed their support for all kinds of sports proposed by Cambodia.
Cambodia proposes some 40 kinds of sports for the SEA Games 2023.
