Cambodia Cooperates with Other ASEAN Nations and Partners to Promote Regional and Global Integration

Cambodia has tried her best to cooperate with other ASEAN Member States and partners to boost regional and global integration for economic recovery.
This also includes the significant role of private sector, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), a catalyst for regional economic recovery and continuation of sustainable and inclusive growth, underlined H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, in his opening remarks at “Siem Reap Policy Dialogue: Promoting Financial Inclusion and Fair Trade,” a sideline event of the 54th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings, at Sokha Siem Reap Resort and Convention Centre in Siem Reap province on Sept. 18.
The minister thanked the European Union, EU-ASEAN Business Council, European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, and relevant partners for their main contribution to Cambodia’s socio-economic development and ASEAN-EU dialogue relation enhancement through financial and technical support and organisation of business and trade promotion events.
Organised by the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia and EU-ASEAN Business Council, the Siem Reap Policy Dialogue attracted some 80 participants, including EU Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Ms Carmen Moreno, EU Ambassador to ASEAN H.E. Igor Driesmans, and members of national and international chambers of commerce.
