Cambodia, Singapore Continue Mutual Support and Bilateral Cooperation

The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Singapore have continued to be mutually supportive and collaborative in order to maintain good relations between both countries and expand cooperation for the benefits of two peoples, despite the COVID-19 crisis.
The remark was made by H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on his official Facebook page, following the bilateral meeting with his Singapore counterpart H.E. Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan in Phnom Penh on Feb. 15.
“I congratulated Singapore for continually being at the top of smart city governments rankings; and I am hopeful that this too would inspire the advancement of technology infrastructure and digital initiatives in fellow ASEAN member states,” he wrote.
“I sincerely hope that H.E. Dr. Balakrishnan and his delegation enjoyed the luncheon hosted by us as well as your entire stay here in Phnom Penh,” he continued.
H.E. Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan arrived in Phnom Penh this morning for an official visit and to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ (AMM) Retreat, being held from Feb. 15 to 17 in hybrid format.
