Cambodia to Pay Tuitions for 6 Cadets at U.S. Service Academies

The Royal Government of Cambodia will be accountable for the tuition payment for six cadets until they successfully finish their studies.
The announcement was made this evening by the Spokesman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, after the U.S. unilateral decision to revoke all previously approved tuition waivers for the six Cambodian cadets currently enrolled at U.S academies.
“Noting the difficulties encountered by the 6 Cambodian cadets due to the termination of U.S. obligations in providing tuition waivers for the six Cambodian cadets and in the spirit of responsibility for the future and for the benefit of the Cambodian cadets, the Royal Government of Cambodia will be accountable for the tuition payment for the six cadets until they successfully finish their studies,” said the Spokesperson.
“The Ministry of National Defence will also communicate with all relevant U.S. agencies regarding this arrangement,” concluded the Spokesperson.
