CCF President Visits Headquarters of Union Cycliste Internationale in Switzerland

H.E. Pan Sorasak, President of the Cambodian Cycling Federation (CCF) led a delegation to visit to the UCI World Cycling Centre, which houses the UCI headquarters in Aigle, Switzerland late last week, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2023.

The visit was aimed to discuss work with UCI officials and visited the UCI’s coaching and training centre.

During the discussion, H.E. Pan Sorasak, also Minister of Commerce, informed the participants about the cooperation between CCF and UCI such as in coach training-Level 1, material assistance project (clothing, and bikes), and special assistance project for the promotion of the “One Person, One Bike,” campaign towards the SEA Games 2023.

H.E. Pan Sorasak further mentioned the readiness of Cambodian cyclists to compete in the SEA Games 2023 to be hosted by Cambodia from May 5 to 17.

Taking the opportunity, the CCF president invited the UCI president to attend the SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia, and requested additional assistance from UCI in terms of training, necessary equipment, and other materials to continue to promote the development of cycling in Cambodia.
