The daily new cases of COVID-19 to Cambodia dropped to 685 this morning; the tally stood at 74,386, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.
Of the new infections, 262 were imported cases and the rest were community cased linked to the Feb. 20 outbreak, it underlined.
At the same time, the same source continued, 775 newly recovered patients and 19 new deaths were registered; bringing the total cured cases and death toll to 66,725 and 1,324, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
