COVID-19: No New Death Case for Four Consecutive Weeks

Zero new COVID-19-related case was reported in Cambodia for four weeks in a row; the total death cases therefore remain at 3,015, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning.
Moreover, it added, 98 newly recovered patients were registered; bringing the total cured cases in the Kingdom to 117,633.
But at the same time, the ministry announced the detection of 35 new infections of COVID-19, all of Omicron variant, of which 28 were locally transmitted and 7 others were imported.
The national counts now increased to 121,390, including 937 Omicron cases (461 Omicron community cases).
The first COVID-19 case was found in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
