Japan Provides Grant Assistance for Infrastructure Construction and Rehabilitation in Cambodia

The Government of Japan has agreed to provide US$527,122 as Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project, KUSANONE, for infrastructure construction and rehabilitation in three Cambodian provinces.
H.E. MIKAMI Masahiro, Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia and representatives of the recipient organisations signed here yesterday their contracts respectively.
According to a press release of the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia, the financial assistance will be used to build two concrete bridges in Kandal and Kratie provinces, and rehabilitate irrigation facilities in Banteay Meanchey province.
“We believe that these facilities will contribute to community development at a grass-roots level,” H.E. MIKAMI Masahiro said.
