KPDN Aims to Engage 10,000 Students in Consumer Advocacy in Kedah

Jitra – The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) has set a goal to involve 10,000 university students in its consumer advocacy programs across 20 selected universities in Kedah.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Minister Fuziah Salleh announced the target at the launch of the program at the National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN) in Jitra, followed by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). The ministry is simultaneously conducting the Rahmah Siswa Sale programme, offering essential items at discounted prices, a benefit particularly for students from the B40 group and families in need. Fuziah also mentioned that the ministry is closely monitoring the floating of chicken prices, with daily checks across various market categories, noting that prices are generally stable nationwide.
