Public Service Centre to be Established in Sihanoukville

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport plans to set up a public service centre in Sihanoukville of Preah Sihanouk province to bring services closer to the people and make it easier to provide services effectively.
The center, located at Fury Mall in Sihanoukville, is scheduled to be launched in March, said H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport at the ministry’s annual meeting held here this morning.
“A new public service centre will be created in Sihanoukville at Fury Mall. It is necessary to provide public services to the people with transparency and efficiency,” he underlined.
Currently, the ministry operates public service centres at the Ministry of Public Works, Aeon Mall I and Aeon Mall II and Noro Mall in Phnom Penh capital, and Heritage Walk in Siem Reap.
The ministry will continue to find other proper locations to establish more public service centres in order to make the services closer to the public and to reduce the informal costs, added H.E. Minister.
