Cambodia Ready to Boost Cooperation with Poland

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has expressed Cambodia’s commitment to promote the relations and cooperation with Poland.
“Cambodia and Poland are old friends who have established their diplomatic ties since 1967. During the past over 50 years, the two countries have maintained good relationship in the diplomatic, education, socio-economic and trade sectors,” said the Cambodian Premier while he and EU Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Ms. Carmen MORENO were presiding over here this morning the handover ceremony of 300,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines donated by the Government and people of Poland to the Government and people of Cambodia.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen took the opportunity to thank Poland for its assistance and support for Cambodia as well as the whole ASEAN region, both in the bilateral and multilateral framework.
“As the ASEAN Chair 2022, Cambodia is ready to further boost the cooperation in all domains, strengthen the ties of friendship and solidarity between Cambodia-Poland and ASEAN-Poland as well as Cambodia-EU and ASEAN-EU,” he said.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister also encouraged Poland and the EU to continue to support Cambodia and ASEAN, and to convince their investors to invest in Cambodia and ASEAN in the areas of agro-industry, education and tourism.
