Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, attended the celebration of the 79th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (Sept. 2, 1945 – Sept. 2, 2024), held at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra this evening.

The reception, organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia, was attended by high-ranking Cambodian officials, international diplomats, national and international guests, and friends of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

Samdech Khuon Sudary has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Tran Thanh Man, President of the National Assembly of Viet Nam, highlighting the close relationship, characterised by mutual respect, trust and a commitment to promoting peace and prosperity for the benefit of both nations.

The Cambodian NA president reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to maintaining the long-standing ties of friendship, good-neighbourliness, and comprehensive cooperation with Viet Nam.

Samdech Khuon Sudary express
ed her hope that these ties will continue to grow and strengthen for the mutual benefit of both peoples.
