Cambodian NA Considers the Terrorist Attack at Moscow an Indefensible Crime


The National Assembly (NA) of the Kingdom of Cambodia on Mar. 24 released a statement, condemning the terrorist attack at Moscow Crocus Concert Hall, the Russian Federation and expressing its condolences to the families of the victims.

The NA of the Kingdom of Cambodia is appalled by the loss of hundreds of people and hundreds injured in a terrorist attack at the Moscow Crocus Concert Hall on Mar. 22, 2024, said the statement.

‘On behalf of the Cambodian people, we are deeply saddened and extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families, and also wish all the injured a speedy recovery and good health,’ it continued.

The National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia condemns such acts of terrorism and considers them an indefensible crime, the statement underlined.

‘We extend our unwavering solidarity to the Government of the Russian Federation and its people during this time of sorrow,’ concluded the same source.

Cambodia Condemns Terrorism Attack in Moscow


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia has released a statement on the terrorist attack at Moscow Crocus Concert Hall in Moscow.

“We are shocked by the deaths of dozens of people and hundreds injured in a terrorist attack at the Moscow Crocus Concert Hall on March 22, 2024. The Royal Government of Cambodia condemns the vicious attack in the strongest possible terms,” the source added.

The ministry extended the deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims and the Government of the Russian Federation, and wish a speedy and full recovery to those injured.

‘Cambodia reiterates that any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of motivation. We stand with the Russian government and people during this time of grief,’ underlined the statement dated Mar. 23.

Cambodia Organises National Day of Science, Technology and Innovation 2024


The three-day celebration of the 2nd National Science, Technology and Innovatio kicked off here at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre this morning, under the presidency of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.

This event was organised by the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation with sponsors and partnership from different state institutions and the private sector.

Addressing the function, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said this is a witness of the Royal Government’s commitment for the innovation toward an upper-lmiddle-income country by 2030 and a high-income nation by 2050.

‘The main theme of this event – Small and Medium Enterprises Towards Science, Technology and Innovation – is the right direction set by the Royal Government in order to boost productivity of private enterprises through the integration of technology in the production line to increase efficiency and added value,’ he pointed out.

ation said this year’s event aiming to promote the cooperation of all stakeholders in the national innovation system to capture the potential of science, technology and innovation.

‘It will promote a deeper understanding of the role of science, technology and innovation among the policy makers, researchers and the private sector, as well as serving the mainstreaming science, technology and innovation to promote productivity and progress for small and medium enterprises’, he underlined.

This events took place from Mar. 24-26, 2024 for the public with a total of 228 booths, including 15 food and beverage booths, educational and higher education institutions, new businesses and development partners.
